Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr. Kwamena Tandoh says the GES is confident that the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcome Project, GALOP, will improve the management of basic schools.

He said the project will go a long way to restructure the Basic Education System to improve teaching and learning at that level.

This, he said, will require everybody’s input and called on parents to show more interest in the management of Basic Schools.

Dr. Tandoh said the project will train teachers in professional development programmes to build their capacities.
