Traditional medicine is an important component of the healthcare system in Ghana. However, indigenous knowledge about medicinal treats is still under research. A visit by GBC24 to the Centre for National Culture in Kumasi revealed that the centre does not only tout itself in the performing arts, trading in artifacts, preserving customs and traditions that appreciate the medicinal values of trees.
