Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research says it has received potential drug candidates that may help treat covid-19 infections from some local pharmaceutical companies.
The Director of the Institute, Prof. Abraham Annan, who was optimistic of finding a cure from the proposed drug candidates, said test on the efficacy are underway.
“Lot of hope because we have received quite a number of drugs that are potentially to be screened for covid-19 and as we begin to do that, we’ll be able to tell.”
