The Minister of Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, has issued a strong warning to health facilities hoarding and selling Personal Protective Equipment, PPE to with immediate effect desist from the practice.
The Minister issued the warning during an interaction with staff of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, while on a special visit to congratulate the front-liners for their tenacity amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Ghana Health Service says the allegation of hoarding of PPE has come to its attention and says it is not an issue of hoarding but rather late delivery of PPE to facilities.
