The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed 18 new Mpox infections, increasing the country’s cumulative case count to 346.
No new deaths have been recorded, with the national fatality figure holding at one. The GHS also reported that there are currently no patients in the hospital receiving treatment for the disease.
In its last update on 7 August 2025, the Service advised the public to stay vigilant, avoid physical contact with individuals showing symptoms, and report any suspected cases promptly to a nearby health facility.
Health officials say they are working closely with regional teams to track contacts and enhance the nationwide response to the outbreak.
