The wife of Ghana’s Vice President, Mrs. Samira Bawumia on Saturday joined former US President, Bill Clinton; CEO of (UNICEF) USA, Caryl Stern; CEO of the CleanCooking Alliance, Dymphna van der Lans; music legend, Rocky Dawuni and other global leaders at the “Next 50 Chefs for the Future of Disaster Relief and Climate Resiliency” at Washington DC. That’s according to a tweet by Mrs. Bawumia on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
World Central Kitchen, founded by Chef José Andrés, a Global Ambassador for the Clean Cooking Alliance; is a not-for-profit organization made up of chefs and kitchens devoted to providing free meals to victims and evacuees of disasters, across the world.
The event celebrates the work of Chef José, the World Central Kitchen as well chefs and kitchens who contribute to making our world a better place for all.
