MTN celebrates its customers with Y’ello soiree

MTN Ghana has organized a series of customer soirees across the country to honor and reward its customers, in keeping with its declaration of 2019 as the ‘Year of the Customer’.

The soirees which were organized in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Koforidua, Ho and Tamale created a platform to celebrate and reward selected customers for their loyalty to the MTN Brand. The events also created the opportunity for the management of MTN Ghana to interact with the customers.

During the Y’ello Soirees, customers were treated to good music and dance. A series of activities are also organized to give customers the opportunity to win exciting gifts such as iPhone 11 pro, Samsung Galaxy note 10 plus and Samsung Note 10 plus.

Customers who celebrated their birthdays on the day of the Soiree were also surprised with birthday gifts and smartphones.

Speaking at the Accra Y’ello Soiree which was held to climax the activities, the Customer Relations Executive of MTN Ghana Mrs. Jemima Kotei Walsh reiterated MTN’s commitment to delight customers using various platforms.

She said, “At MTN, the customer is at the center of everything we do that is why we declared this year as the Year of the Customer. Without customers we wouldn’t exist, so it is appropriate to use an occasion like the Y’ello Soiree to interact with them and seek more feedback that will help improve our products and services.

Speaking at the event, the Corporate Services Executive, Samuel Koranteng, who represented the CEO, reiterated the critical role MTN is playing. He said. “MTN is changing millions of lives in Ghana in several ways. For instance, we have brought financial services to over 14 million Ghanaians through MTN Mobile Money, and also, across all our businesses we have created jobs for over 500,000 people. In order to continue to give you the best experience, we have invested over $160 million into our network expansion in 2019”.

Since the introduction of the MTN Y’ello Soiree in Accra in 2015, it has been extended to other regions and with 19 Y’ello Soirees that has been organized across the country.
