The Electricity Company of Ghana, ECG, says to ensure the safe conveyance of 145 MVA transformers from the Tema Port to the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point Construction site, the company will have to isolate some high voltage overhead lines.
As a result, there will be planned outages from Friday, May 8, to Thursday, May 14, between 10pm and 1am each day.
In a statement, ECG indicated that the affected areas are Tema, Klagon, Spintex, Trasacco, Dzorwulu, Achimota and Ofankor.
Meanwhile, attempts to reach the Company to give more details on the exercise have proved futile.
