The Upper East Regional Director of Crops at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Joshua Diedong, says the region is gearing up for a bumper harvest this season for the five main crops under the “Planting For Food and Jobs” programme.
The bumper harvest, according to him, will not only ensure food security for the country but will also increase the income of farmers who benefited from the Government’s Flagship Agricultural Policy- “Planting for Food and Jobs”.
