Ghana’s Black Queens continued their dominant run at the 2026 Pink Ladies Cup with a impressive 4–0 victory over Russia at the Al Hamriya Sports Club Stadium in the United Arab Emirates, making it two wins from two in the four-nation tournament.

Coming into the fixture on the back of a 4–0 win over Hong Kong, the Queens showed early intent.

It took just four minutes for the first warning sign. Doris Boaduwaa tested the Russian goalkeeper from the edge of the box, but her effort was gathered comfortably.

Four minutes later, Ghana found the breakthrough.

In the 8th minute, brilliant build-up play involving Doris ended with Stella Nyamekye applying a powerful finish inside the box to give Ghana a 1–0 lead.

Russia attempted to respond in the 12th minute with a long-range strike, but it drifted wide.

The Black Queens doubled their advantage in the 17th minute through a swift counterattack. Doris Boaduwaa unleashed a rocket into the net to make it 2–0.

And before the half-hour mark, she was at it again.

In the 33rd minute, Doris completed her brace to put Ghana firmly in command, effectively sealing the contest before halftime. The Black Queens capped the scoring in the 88th minute when Ajegipena Zakaria, who scored her first goal as a debutant against Hong Kong, netted her second senior international goal to make it 4–0.

The result means Ghana have now scored eight goals and conceded none in two matches at the tournament. This is a strong statement of intent as they build toward the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations later this month.

The Black Queens will wrap up their Pink Ladies Cup campaign against Tanzania in their next fixture on Friday 6th March 2026, which also marks the Independence Day celebration for Ghana.
