A combined team of Military and police personnel on Thursday, September 12, 2019, intensified the war against crime by taking the fight to the doorsteps of criminals.

The exercise was conducted by the police with support from Ghana Armed Forces at Budumburam near Kasoa in the central region.

The police in a statement said the exercise forms part of efforts to ensure total security in the country.

According to the statement, a total of 141 suspects including 15 females were rounded up during the operation and were all brought to the police national headquarters for screening.

It further said those culpable shall be taken through the legal process.

The operation the statement said shall be replicated nationwide and the public is therefore entreated to provide vital information to assist the police on fighting crime.
