The Upper East Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Salahudeen Musah Al-Khomeini, has thrown his support behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as the most prepared and visionary leader for the party at this time.
Speaking to GBCNews in Bolgatanga about the current political landscape, Mr Al-Khomeini said, “with all humility, it is understandable that this is the time for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia,” noting that the Vice President has distinguished himself through years of public service and policy advocacy.
According to him, Dr Bawumia’s ideas and leadership qualities make him a strong contender for national leadership.
He further described Dr Bawumia as “well marketed,” attributing this to his consistent public engagement, clear communication of policies and strong visibility across the country.
Mr Al-Khomeini added that the Vice President’s understanding of economic and technological issues positions him as a forward-looking leader capable of addressing Ghana’s development challenges.
The NPP youth leader also described Dr Bawumia as “well prepared,” citing his experience in government and his role in shaping key national initiatives. He urged party faithful, particularly the youth, to rally behind a candidate he believes embodies innovation, competence and continuity.
Mr Al-Khomeini’s comments add to the growing endorsements from party executives ahead of internal party processes and the next general election cycle.
