A Kokomba Youth Group, Butomm Coalition has called for the dismissal of the DCE for Chereponi, Abdul-Razak Tahidu, for allegedly, losing control of security in the area.
The Coalition also blamed military personnel deployed to the area for failing to provide equal protection to both factions involved in the conflict that has led to loss of lives and property.
President of the Coalition Abraham Kikpe, told GBC’s Nathanial Nartey that the DCE has rejected several approaches from the coalition for a roundtable to address the issue.
Mr. Kikpe bemoaned how such conflicts are allowed to escalate before measures are put in place to address them.
