Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, earlier today held an engaging session in Accra with former Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) from across the country.
The meeting, which brought together past local government leaders, focused on strengthening party unity and revitalizing political momentum ahead of future electoral contests.
In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account following the meeting, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving their political goals. “Our quest to bounce back requires the collective efforts of all, and I urged my fellow patriots to join hands so we realize this objective together,” he wrote.
Dr. Bawumia also expressed gratitude for the strong support he has received, noting that a significant number of the former MMDCEs had declared their intention to actively campaign for and support him.
