The Electoral Commission has announced the cancellation of the planned special voting ahead of the December 17, District Level Elections.

A statement signed by Deputy Chairman (Operations), Samuel Tettey, said this followed the withdrawal of the Bill on the Referendum.

“In view of this all media personnel who were placed on the early/special voting list will be sent back to their original polling stations.”

The statement added that, the District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections remained unchanged.
