The Director of Electoral Services of the Electoral Commission, Dr. Serebour Quaicoe has attributed the slow pace of the ongoing voters’ registration to the difficulty of some officials to effectively man or operate the BVD and other electoral devices inspite of rigorous training on their usage.

Speaking on GBC’s ‘Behind the News’, Dr. Quaicoe explained that none of the electoral devices have been reported to be faulty.

He tasked the media to be circumspect in their reportage and not be blinded by sensationalism to peddle falsehood.

His comments come on the heels of audio circulating on social media, misinforming the public about the EC’s guarantor system.
