The final phase of the six weeks voter’s registration exercise begins on, Saturday, August 01 and ends on Thursday, August 06.

A statement from the Electoral Commission (EC) urged all eligible voters to take advantage of the final phase and register to vote on December 07.

The Commission said it was satisfied with the turnout so far and urged persons yet to register to do so at Centres near them.

“The Commission assures members of the public that it will enforce all the safety protocols at all Registration Centres throughout the country,” the statement said.

It however cautioned political parties against, “Bussing non-residents to specific registration centres.”

The statement reminded guarantors that it was an offense to charge fees in exchange for vouching for applicants.

It expressed appreciation to the citizens for the continued support and interest in the work of the Commission.
