The EC has identified Accra and Tema as areas with registration centers experiencing overcrowding.

In an interaction with Journalists in Accra, Deputy Chairman in charge of Operations, Samuel Tettey said the Commission will strictly enforce its queue management system in those areas to ensure that people adhere to the social distancing protocols.

“The overcrowding is mostly being experienced in Accra and Tema and the Commission is taking steps to deal with that situation. Within the perimeter of the registration centre that is not much of a problem, but beyond the centre, that is where the challenge really is.”
