The Deputy Chairman of the Electoral Commission in charge of Corporate Services, Dr Bossman Asare has assured the public of the Commission’s readiness for the upcoming elections, as it puts in place measures to ensure transparency and fairness.
He confirmed that, with the voter’s register exhibition over, finalization is underway.
Speaking in Accra, Dr Asare said almost 200,000 personnel have been recruited for the approximately 40,653 polling stations.
He noted that Candidates are expected to file their nominations from September 9 to 13, 2024.
Following this, he said the EC will print the notice of poll, which will list the Candidates for both parliamentary and presidential elections in all 276 constituencies.
