Voting at the St. Theresa’s School polling station in the Okaikwei South Constituency was disrupted following the discovery of suspected fake ballots.

A group of individuals, believed to be linked to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was found with ballots that looked like official election materials.

Witnesses said the group arrived in a vehicle and tried to enter the polling station, raising suspicions among party supporters and election officials.

Further checks revealed that some of the ballots appeared pre-marked, sparking fears of attempts to manipulate the election process.

The discovery caused confusion and tension, with officials and supporters stepping in to restore order and ensure transparency.

Election observers are now investigating the matter as voters wait anxiously for the results.
