Finance Minister summoned over UT, Capital Bank collapse

Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta is expected to appear before Parliament Next week Wednesday to answer questions regarding the collapse of UT and Capital Banks.

He was expected to appear before the House Thursday to respond to a question by Bolgatanga Central MP Isaac Adongo on how much government has paid GCB Bank for taking over assets of both banks. But Deputy Majority leader Adwoa Sarfo said there was a miscommunication.

The Minister will appear on the 13th of March to answer the questions.
