Four (4) constituencies in the Western Region are billed to hold parliamentary elections  alongside 102 others named as ‘Orphan constituencies’ in the New Patriotic Party, (NPP), primaries which is set to open at 8: 00 am to 3:00pm Saturday, September 28, 2019, nationwide.

The four constituencies are Amenfi West, Amenfi Central, Ellebelle and Wassa East.

Speaking to GBC’s Western Regional Correspondent, Marie Aziz Tunde in Sekondi ahead of the event, the Western Regional Secretary of the party, Charles Bissue, mentioned that all is set for the process which will be conducted by the Electoral Commission.

Mr. Bissue noted that there will not be anything like party vigilante groups emphasizing that Personnel from the Ghana Police Service to ensure security at all centers.
