Deputy General Secretary of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr. Titus Beyuo, has called for urgent implementation of E1 164 that fines and imprisons defaulters of face mask wearing.
He said the country would soon be flooded with activities that would witness large gatherings, which must be of concern to all.
Speaking on GBC’s ‘Behind The News’, Dr. Beyuo said Chief Executive Officers of institutions such as the NIA must be sanctioned for breaches on COVID-19 safety protocols.
On the EC registration, Dr. Beyuo was unhappy with breaches of some safety protocols and asked the EC to take charge and implement stringent rules that would ensure compliance.
