The Minister of Information Designate, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, says 18 factories have been accredited with some already functioning under Government’s One District, One Factory programme.
Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, ‘Behind the News’, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said government is in partnership with the private sector and has provided incentives such as access to market and liquidity to stimulate the sector.
This, he believes, will make the Policy a success.
On the sustainability of the Policy, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said government is committed to developing more Industries across Ghana to create jobs and improve the livelihood of Ghanaians.
