Minority Leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has challenged the Finance Minister designate, Ken Ofori-Atta to justify how he would solve the huge debt hanging over the country when approved for that office.
He also talked about other promises made by government in terms of handling the finances and expenditure of the country, asking how these would be accounted for.
The Minority Leader was speaking on the floor of Parliament during the approval of Mr. Ofori-Atta as the Finance Minister.
Mr. Iddrisu expressed dissatisfaction with the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta’s previous work despite his approval by Parliament.
