Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu appointed Chairman of NPP’s Manifesto Committee for 2024 elections

Outgoing Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, has been appointed as the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) manifesto committee for the 2024 general elections.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Wednesday, February 21, by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Spokesperson for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s 2024 campaign team.

The statement also disclosed that Housing Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has been designated as the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, while Evron Hughes will serve as the secretary.

The manifesto Committee is entrusted with a comprehensive mandate, including a thorough evaluation of the party’s 2016 and 2020 manifestos, engagement with key stakeholders, and the formulation of a practical and forward-looking manifesto for the upcoming elections. The committee will also collaborate with sector ministers, who will serve as advisors.

The Committee is expected to approach its responsibilities with utmost efficiency and professionalism, ensuring the development of a manifesto that not only addresses the immediate concerns of Ghanaians but also provides enduring relevance over time.
