Scores of NPP party supporters in the La Dade Kotopon constituency in the Greater Accra Region have called on the Regional Executives of the party to expel the former MP for the area, Vincent Sowah Odotei for allegedly plotting the party`s defeat in the 2020 elections.

According to the group, there is an overwhelming suspicion that Mr. Odotei and the NDC Parliamentary Candidate held a clandestine meeting to strategize towards victory for the NDC during last year`s polls.

The group said, Mr. Odotei should be called to order because his negative propaganda tactics and schemes were ostensibly to derail the effort of the NPP to become an attractive political party to the constituency. Responding to the issue, in an interview, Mr. Odotei refuted all the allegations, calling them baseless and untrue.

He indicated his willingness to submit himself to the fact-finding committee of the party to investigate and get to the bottom of the issue.

Meanwhile, the group has presented a fifteen point petition to the Constituency Deputy Organizer, Abraham Anum Nai for further action to be taken in the matter.
