The Majority and Minority leaders in the current parliament have both agreed on the need for more compromises in the next Parliament.

The two expressed satisfaction with the 7th Parliament.

However, there were some reservations especially with the polarization of national issues. The two sides were happy that they were able to scrutinize and pass a number of Bills which is unprecedented in the 4th republic.

The two sides made the point when they both addressed the media to sum up parliamentary proceedings ahead of the dissolution of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic at Midnight today.

Majority leader Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu said there must be more consultations in the 8thParliament.
