The Minority in Parliament has ridiculed Government’s ‘Year of Roads’ mantra stating that monies allocated in the 2020 Budget can only pay arrears.
According to the Minority government’s declaration of 2020 as a year of roads can only be a mirage.
Taking his turn to Debate the 2020 Budget in Parliament, Minority spokesperson on Roads and Transport, Governs Kwame Agbodza charged the sector minister to demand more resources from the Finance Minister in order to be able to address agitations for good roads across the country.
But Chairman for the Committee, Samuel Aye-Paye disagreed.
