About 156 members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in the Akontombra constituency in the Western North Region have crossed carpet to join the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to them, they have observed unprecedented developmental projects under current government.

Among them are the ongoing road projects being carried out by a Chinese construction company, rehabilitations of Schools, provision of portable Water and employment for the Youth in both skilled and unskilled labour, through the hard work of the MP and DCE for the area.

Their Spokesman, David Tetteh, promised to give their support to the party to win this year’s election in order to continue with its good works.

Welcoming them to the party, the Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Samuel Kofi Abiaw, urged them to work hard and bring other members on board to help NPP, maintain its seat in the Akontombra constituency come December general elections.
