MP calls for unity after NPP parliamentary primaries

MP for Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr Emmanuel Marfo has entreated the followers of the contestants to bury their differences and unite for the task ahead.

He said factionalism among the members of the party could prove detrimental since the battle is between the party and the NDC.

The MP thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him and promised to retain the seat for the party.

The incumbent MP for Oforikrom Constituency, Dr Emmanuel Marfo was re-elected in Saturday, June 21 primaries to represent the NPP.

He polled 545 votes against 346 of his only contender, Dr Emmanuel Adu- Amankwah, a lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
