Nana Konadu’s legacy will inspire generations – Minister for the Interior

Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak, has paid a compassionate visit to the family of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, to commiserate with them following her passing.

Expressing his deepest sympathies, the Minister described the late Nana Konadu as an extraordinary woman and a visionary leader whose tireless advocacy for women’s rights helped shape Ghana’s social and political landscape.

He reflected on her enduring impact, saying her legacy of empowerment and nation building will continue to inspire generations to come. “Her passion for uplifting women and her unwavering service to Ghana are hallmarks of her remarkable leadership,” he noted.

Offering words of comfort, Hon. Muntaka reminded the family of the divine order of life. “There is a time for everything, and her transition should be seen as God’s will  He has simply called her home,” he said.

The Minister prayed for strength, unity, and divine guidance for the bereaved family as they navigate this difficult moment.
