The United Cadres Front of Ghana has called on the National Executive Council of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to immediately overhaul the leadership of the party in the current Parliament.
This is because, they have betrayed the principles of probity, transparency, accountability and social justice that formed the bedrock of the NDC.
The group says it is wrong for Members of Parliament (MPs) who were elected to represent the party to completely abandon its core values and principles by voting to approve ministerial nominations that they had unanimously rejected during the vetting.
In a statement, the group said the NDC MPs voted to approve the ministerial nominations based on business connections, friendship and tribe among others.
This it says, portrays clearly that some of the NDC MPs only used the party to fulfill their personal interests rather than that of the party and the nation at large.
