The National Democratic Congress (NDC) says it has put in place maximum internal security for its upcoming congress tomorrow (November 17).
The Security to be provided by the party will work in conjunction with the state security.
The Director of Elections of the NDC, Bede Ziedeng stressed that the security to be provided by the party are not vigilante groups.
About nine thousand delegates are expected to converge on the Trade Fair Fantasy Dome for the party’s 9th delegates congress.
Mr. Ziedeng warned that anyone who foments trouble during the Congress will be dealt with by the security officials.
Mr. Bede Ziedeng also asked delegates to desist from vote-buying and conduct themselves properly and not to bring the party’s name into disrepute.
