The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman for Greater Accra Region, Ade Coker has expressed satisfaction with the process so far. He said the party is optimistic that it will claim all its lost seats.

The La Bawaleshie voting centre had been a centre of controversy some months ago during the by-election for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.

Mr Coker was at the Centre to ensure the process goes on smoothly without any hitches.

He called on the President to issue a white paper on the report on the inquiry into the Ayawaso West Wuogon electoral violence submitted by the Emile Short Commission.

An Aspirant at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo said he is optimistic that he will win by 70%.

About 1,350 delegates are expected to cast their votes. So far about 600 delegates have cast their votes.

Security presence at the voting centre is apt and the process has been calm so far.
