The Electoral Commission (EC) has insisted that the kits being used for the ongoing voter registration are more robust and efficient than the previous one.
Addressing the media in Accra, a Deputy Chairman of the EC, Samuel Tettey, said the frequent breakdowns and malfunctioning of equipment and devices that characterized previous registration exercises since 2012 was not experienced in the Phase one and Batch one of this year’s registration.
This he says, explains why the various registration centres exceeded their daily targets.
