The Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah says there is no cause for alarm for Nigerians in the Region, as measures have been taken to ensure that safety and sanity prevail in the aftermath of attacks on some Nigerians in the region.
To this end, he has asked the media to exercise circumspection when reporting on the matter.
Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, ‘Behind the News’, Mr. Mensah urged Nigerians in the Region, to call on his office anytime they have an issue, adding that Ghana and Nigeria hold the trump card to sustaining the regional body, ECOWAS.
