The Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has called on government to make available the budgetary allocation to the Legislature for their smooth running.
In a brief remark at today’s sitting, he said, “the absence of the needed funding poses a risk of the House running to a halt”.
The Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor Dompreh assured the House that government will do the needful.
“Government is being engaged to resolve the financial challenge”.
“The Finance Ministry is ready to make some statutory payments”, according to
the Majority Chief Whip Frank Annor Dompreh.
