The Progressive People’s Party (PPP), has accused government of deliberately targeting businesses owned by its Founder, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom to collapse them.

National Secretary of the Party, Paa Kow Ackon says government cannot claim to be creating jobs when it is deliberately collapsing indigenous businesses.

He told GBC’s Nathaniel Nartey that Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom is the real creator of jobs and it is sad that his businesses which were benefitting about seven thousand Ghanaians have suffered for political reasons.

Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has refuted claims by the PPP that it has deliberately targeted and collapsed businesses owned by Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom.

Deputy General Secretary of the NPP, Nana Obiri Buahen says the allegations by the PPP are with no basis.

He cited NABCO as an example of jobs created by the NPP and called on Ghanaians to disregard such statements by the PPP.

  1. This is absolute nonsense! NPP should be ashamed of itself for being so vindictive against a political opponent who once helped them.

There are areas that Nduom could have done a bit differently, and the government should hold every businesses hands to improve in areas where improvements would help them succeed.

Government I quick to bring in Toyota while crippling Ghana local businesses of those who are not members of their parties… Very unfortunate!!!!

Ghanaians should not be interested in whether or not Nduom’s businesses were 100% compliant with all of government’s policies. We should rather be interesting in what they government did to support and help local businesses to up their effort into full compliance of their often useless policies that are politically driven.

    GOVERNMENT MUST HELP!!! not cripple.
