President Akufo-Addo is in the Ashanti Region on a three-day visit to inspect ongoing projects.
He is to cut the sod for construction of new projects and inaugurate others.
The President accompanied by sector Ministers, CEOs and MMDCEs have visited the UNIJay factory which is to train apprentices under the Youth Employment Agency.
He also inspected the Kumasi International Airport project. The President was given a rousing welcome by students who have just completed the WASSCE.
He also paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu and the Asanteman Council.
The President introduced the Party’s Parliamentary candidates to the Asantehene and the Asanteman Council.
Nana Akufo Addo noted that a total of 1,824 projects have been initiated by the NPP since 2017, and 774 have been completed while one thousand and 50 are ongoing.
