The President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has cast his ballot at the Rock of Ages Polling Station in Kyebi, in the Eastern Region, together with the First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo and his daughters.

President Akufo-Addo speaking to the media after casting his vote expressed optimism of being retained, adding that he is impressed with the smooth running of the voting process.

He said, as he said in his address to the nation on Sunday, using your God-given and constitutional rights costs nothing, but staying home can come at a very steep price.

He therefore urged all eligible voters to turn out in their numbers and cast their vote, thereby, exercising their sovereign right to the making of government in the country.
