The Bolgatanga Central NPP Constituency Executive members, and the electoral Area coordinators together with the foot soldiers of the Party is calling to the attention of the President to what they describe as untoward behavior of the Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Joseph Atura Amiyuure, which is negatively impacting on the party and government.

This was contained in a press statement issued jointly by the Constituency Chairman, Alhaji Alhassan Amaliba; Constituency Secretary, Richard Abanga and Constituency Communication officer, Ibrahim Issaka Akolgo.

The statement states that all efforts to draw the attention of the actions and inactions of the MCE, including a petition to the President and copied to the National Chairman, Regional Chairman as well as the Regional Minister to invite Mr Amiyuure to iron out the issue have been unsuccessful.

The statement concludes that a single individual cannot bring the party’s name into dispute and to derail the fortunes of the party in the upcoming election despite the many developmental projects witnessed in the constituency over the last three years.
