The New Patriotic Party (NPP) today held Parliamentary Primaries in 100 constituencies where it has no sitting MP’s across the country.
The constituencies were initially 106 but voting in six of them was put on hold following several issues including an injunction on the Asawase constituency in the Ashanti Region.
The primary at Amasaman was also called off following an interlocutory injunction secured by one of the aspirants, Rockson Adu Boahen, to stop the exercise after he was disqualified from the contest.
