The Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, ICU, has charged President Akufo-Addo to remove from office, the Board Chairman of COCOBOD, Hackman Owusu- Agyeman, for activities deemed detrimental to workers of COCOBOD and the cocoa Industry in general.
Speaking at a joint news conference with the General Agricultural Workers Union, GAWU at the TUC Hall in Accra, the General Secretary of the ICU, Solomon Kotei, mentioned several instances of interference in the work of COCOBOD by Mr. Owusu-Agyeman which, he said have far-reaching consequences for industrial harmony.
