A member of the Media Coalition on the Right to Information Bill, Elvis Darko says the bill should not be perceived to be for only Journalists.
Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs programme, “Talking Point”, Mr. Darko said the public should view the RTI as a way of ensuring effective public service delivery, and a way for all to clarify information.

Director of Advocacy Policy Engagements, CDD Ghana, Kojo Asante says the requirements of the law is very critical, especially where citizens must stick to the use of only corporate emails for official work.
MP and Chairman of the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee, Ben Abdullah Banda says there are no charges for applying for any information service.
However, there is need for more public education and sensitisation, explaining that the RTI Bill will help reduce political propaganda.
