Security Analyst, Adib Saani, says the guidelines issued by the Ghana Police Service ahead of the swearing-in of the President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo and MPs this Thursday is timely.

Speaking to Radio Ghana, Mr. Saani, however, had some reservations with it particularly the deployment of six thousand Police personnel to maintain law and order.

He explained that the number deployed is extremely high and could affect other security operations in the capital and the country as a whole.

Mr. Saani advised the Police to apply minimal force in the discharge of their duties during the event and be highly professional.

Mr. Saani advised the public to comply with the guidelines and not throng the State House to observe the ceremony.
