The Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has expressed concern about the security situation in the country and called on the media, to make their voices heard.

She said the continuous violence in Odododiodoo calls for fairness in applying the laws of the country.

She was reacting to a question at an interaction in Accra with media Executives and Senior Editors.

Touching on the registration exercise leading to compilation of the voters register, Professor Opoku-Agyemang said this is not the first time such an exercise is taking place in the country, therefore, how come the violence and intimidation in certain areas.

She stressed the party’s position that, it will not accept any flawed election adding that, the EC must be transparent and do things to encourage more people to participate in the upcoming elections.

She said if confidence is not built in the system, all the efforts will go waste.

She said a future NDC government will make accountability key to their processes saying the whole programme is about Ghana and nothing else.
