Two persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the violent clash between groups belonging to the NDC and NPP at Odododiodoo at the weekend.

However nine of the ten persons who were hospitalized as a result of the clash have been treated and discharged. PRO of the Greater Accra Regional Police Command DSP, Efia Tenge did not name the political party the two arrested belong to.

According to her, that information is irrelevant for now.

DSP Efia Tenge told Nathaniel Nartey that the Police is focused on investigating and arresting all persons involved in the violent clash.

On peace in Odododiodoo ahead of the election, DSP Efia Tenge said the recent clash between the NDC and NPP in the area is a clear violation of commitment to peace by all parties which involved the Ga Mantse.

She said the Police will continue to do their part to ensure peaceful co-existence between both parties in the area.
