Executive Director of the West Africa Network for Peace Building, Dr. Chukwuemeka Eze has challenged scholars in Africa to deepen collaboration and intensify research in conflict resolution to help address the growing insecurity on the continent.
He said the multi-dimensional nature of crime including terrorism and extremism in Africa require mediation and dialogue informed by research.
Dr. Eze said this at an African Peace building Network Grantee Research Methods Training Workshop in Accra under the auspices of the University of Ghana and the Social Science Research Council of USA.
