Pramkese, a town in the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Council, is preparing for a momentous cultural event with the enstoolment of a new Queen Mother on December 13, 2025.
The ceremony will take place at the Pramkese Palace at 10am, signalling a renewal of leadership and a reaffirmation of the town’s rich traditions.
The event is being led by the Pramkese Chief, Barima Ofori Frempong II, alongside Abusuapanin Nana Adu Bempong.
These two key leaders promise an occasion filled with vibrant displays of Akyem Abuakwa heritage, featuring traditional rites, music, and community participation that highlight the enduring values of the people.
This installation holds deep significance for Pramkese, as the new Queen Mother is expected to take on a crucial role in preserving the town’s customs.
